Nursing Homes are live-in accommodation which provide medical care.

Residential Homes are live-in accommodation which do not provide medical care. Personal assistance may be given, which can include washing and dressing.

Domiciliary Care Agencies (also known as home care) provide practical and emotional support for people in their own homes, which enables them to go on living in the community.
